Kids from the club led the game and adults and kids stopped by to play. The object is to transfer nutrients (symbolized by the ball) from one blanket (the tree) to the other blanket (the fungus) and back. After a few rounds of practice, which represent a positive mycorrhizal relationship, two kids become the Garlic Mustard, putting socks on one hand and trying to intercept the transfer of nutrients.
