UPDATED AUG. 10
The Cambridge Wildlife Puppetry Project (CWPP) invites Cambridge residents between the ages of 14 and 20 to submit portfolios of work at any time.. Please submit 3–5 original drawings (or other 2D art) that demonstrate your range. Successful candidates will be commissioned (and assigned a specific flora or fauna species) to create an original work of a Cambridge species of animal, specified by CWPP, from a photograph. Sketches, cartoons, paintings are all acceptable.
The CWPP will pay youth artists $60.00 for a commissioned drawing and for the right to use it in our series of wildlife trading cards of animals that live in Cambridge. All other rights revert to you. You will also receive 7 copies of your card.
Please provide a link to your work to firstname.lastname@example.org Portfolios are now being reviewed as they are received.
Here is an example of our wildlife cards, featuring a drawing by CRLS student Megan Kelliher. Cards are distributed free to Cambridge children at public events.
