The Cambridge Wildlife Puppetry Project (CWPP) invites Cambridge residents between the ages of 14 and 20 to submit portfolios of work. Please submit 3-5 original drawings or other 2D art that demonstrate your range. Successful candidates will be commissioned to create an original work of a Cambridge species of animal, specified by CWPP, from a photograph. Sketches, cartoons, paintings are all acceptable.
The CWPP will pay $60.00 for a drawing and for the right to use it in our series of wildlife trading cards of animals that live in Cambridge. All other rights revert to you. You will also receive 7 copies of your card.
Photographers with wildlife photographs taken in Cambridge may also submit their work for review.
Please provide a link to your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. Portfolios will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning April 15, 2017.
Here is an example of our wildlife cards, featuring a drawing by CRLS student Megan Kelliher. Cards are distributed free to Cambridge children at public events.
